Performing a longlist (ls -ll) showed the offending executing file had full privaleges, including execution (obviously). I went to the install directory listed in the ps list. But it would come back like a hungry zombie. Typing 'kill 1177' would get rid of it for a while. The install directory was layed out, bare to see.
